Life in general seems to excite McVeigh. He is 6-foot-8 and 210 pounds of smile and enthusiasm. “His attitude is wonderful. It’s infectious,” NU basketball strength coach Tim Wilson said. “He loves to train and be pushed. We had a hard workout Thursday and he comes over and says, ‘I love this! I love this!’ It’s just how he is.”
