I am not into giving up something as a fan to have something else. Kind of like those rival deals where people say they would give up X amount of wins in order to be guaranteed to win against the rival. Bogus.

Plus I am greedy. I want both.

I'm too biased for this.. I have been a fan of Nebraska basketball since the dark dark days.

Why all these one or the other questions? How about an elite 8 in bball AND a bcs bowl in football. How about that my man.

I'm saying no because I want a National Championship in football and I want a Final Four or National Championship in basketball too, which is higher than Elite 8! I do love watching Tim Miles and what the basketball team is becoming though!

Elite Eight doesn't mean anything? For a program that hasn't even been to the dance in 16 years? That's got to be a joke, right?

Football is still king here. People have lived with sub mediocre basketball for years and can continue to do so. A losing season in football starts a civil war.

All I know is that I went to PBA for the first time a couple weeks ago. Now granted, there's a lot of excitement surrounding this basketball program right now, and Miles has infused a lot of renewed energy, but that atomsphere there is something I'd take over a football game's anyday. Football-as much as I just love being there-just has too damn much of a serious business-like feel to it. That basketball game was a show. The overall football production needs to get with it and create the same kind of fun and relaxed atmosphere.

No because while going to the Elite 8 is nice, its not a championship. Plus I don't want any of my teams to lose for the sake of anything else.

I really only asked the question to see if Nebraska is somewhat turning into a basketball school in the eyes of the fans. Clearly not after just 1 year. However if Miles sticks around and builds this thing to what it could be, I could definitely see Nebraska turning into a pu&&y state....I mean, Basketball state.
