NU puts up the new coaches names

Once again the NU athletic department forgot to call every single Husker fan in the world and let them know whats going on so let's get are undies in bunch! God D@#m it! When Bo takes a dump I want to know about it because "we are Nebraska" :ahhhhhhhh

Try to keep hold of some perspective. There's no reason we need to know about these coaching changes right away. It's college football. Changing a couple of assistant coaches isn't going to change your life. At least, it shouldn't...

I see this as more of an HR (been dealing with my HR department a lot lately) issue than it is a Coach Bo Pelini issue.

Hell, why should they have to officially announce it? Everybody already knows who the coaches are anyways. Good ole' internet

Either it's a pretty bad mess-up, or Pelini isn't even bothering to keep it a secret anymore, or even both.

Bo has this rep of being uptight with information flow. So guessing from the other news stories that have surfaced about the new staff in close media outlets like the OWH and LJS, I am guessing he wants this out there.

Given how big a deal was made of denying new staff members/staff changes in the beginning, I think this is a shrewdly positive way to go about the ultimate announcements. "Big deal? What big deal?"

Bo is a completely bizarre individual. Any other program in the country would take the time to welcome and introduce new coaches. I feel bad for them- they probably feel like they're working at Area 51 or something.

By normal University policy (red tape) he can't officially announce the offensive hires until Friday unless he asks for an exception. Bo was only going to do that if both Gilmore and Watson found jobs before that time. The thoughts were that would have been wrapped up by Monday. That hasn't happened. Bo had previously stated that he'd announce the defensive staff at a later date when he could introduce all new hires.
