Both, but he's had a couple TD's as well this season. He's one of our True Freshman that has earned some decent playing time this season. We recruited him knowing that we were looking for another Jared Cook type of TE with decent size, but even better hands/speed.

 
Actually Anderson was a major surprise. We had 2 TE's in last year's signing group, Anderson and Drew Owens. Owens was thought to be the better receiver but weak in blocking and Anderson just the opposite. He's been quite a surprise, because he's probably a better blocker than receiver. The reason Cunningham is starting is because he's more polished, experienced, and knows the playbook better. I would not be surprised if Anderson beats him for the starting job next year, though (there's another one coming in, but that's irrelevant as far as this board is concerned). It's true that he's only 205, but he's done an adequate job chipping and cut blocking as needed thus far.

Man this match up is pretty exciting!! I feel comfortable any receiver on Fonzie but the other side is suspect. Someone mentioned that your QB can scramble and make plays which worries me quite a bit. I think this will go down to which team can win the field position battle and connect on field goal attempts.

 
Only Game changers we have is David / T-magic / and Rex. I hate to say it but Fonnzie is gonna be in over his head. Its really sad now that I look at the total lack of game changers we have..

 
I'll just leave this here, since Melvin has now been named 1st Team everything. I forgot he got the onside kick against UGA. Dude is crazy.

So now the game has been played I just wanted to recap based on who we all believed the GameChangers may be, so we can see how we speculated.

I used the link below to get their stats and posted it above next to their name.

Summary: David, #4, is a beast and had a great game. Martinez and Burkhead had a great first quarter. Neither team's kicker played well today. Shaw had a great game, no turnovers and managed the ball/plays. Alshon had a great 1st half, then got booted, but still was awarded as the Cap One Bowl MVP. Ingram, Clowney, Gilmore, Swearinger and Allen all had good games. Gilmore probably had the best game out of defenders, except for 1 bonehead penalty.

I thought he played very well and was impressed. On the other side of the ball, Burkhead impressed me as well. As I said in the Alshon thread, he reminded me of the Great John Riggins.

In the end, I'm glad I made my way over here, hung out and started this thread. It made watching the game more enjoyable (regardless of the score) knowing the players on the other side of the ball. It also made me a fan of several of your players......
