NU vs Western Illinois/Louisiana-Lafayette

Hopefully NU can win all of these games. Jennings is pitching tonight. The huskers can't look ahead of these games and hoepfully will be more of a confidence booster even though they don't really need it.

The most likely matchup on Friday will be the number 1 and 2 all time wins of active pitchers in college baseball (Dorn and Hunter Moody). Lafayette usually have decent teams and Western Illlinois might even make a regional.

First pitch tomorrow @ 1:35 PM CDT against the Leathernecks. (I just really wanted to say Leathernecks)

 
Nebraska got the sweep today winning 6-1. Bird got the W, but Pribanic pitched 2 innings along with Freeman and Mariot each pitching one. Optiz and Mort each scored twice including Optiz's two run home-run.

I wonder why Pribanic got in today, I know he hasn't been pitching that great, I wonder if he will still start on Saturday(because of a double-header), he should be rest but you never know.

On another note Corriston will have arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn ligiment in his right knee. He is expected to come back before the end of the year.

How about Jake Opitz, huh? Man he is on fire! Hitting .400 with 3 Homers over the past 4 games.

That sucks for Corriston.

Don't want to rush the recovery, but we're going to need his glove and his bat for A&M...
