NU Win = Top 25?

With VT dropping out and Pitt possibly looking at a loss is there a chance with a husker win we get in the top 25? :dunno

Not a chance.. it's going to take more than a home win against a mediocre school to prove to the pollsters that we are significantly better than last year.

 
i would say 4-0 and we are in. probably not too high of course, but it would be hard to judge off of the MU game because do you shoot into the teens if you beat a top 5 team or do you get to be number 25. i think voters will have seen enough by game 4 assuming we win all four of course.

 
Well as far as ranking VaTech will have little affect on what happens to us. But it still gives us an idea of where we are.

VaTech could have another loss by the time they get here.

Now Missouri is the main game of the year for us.

We have to hope they get by Illinois and head in here undefeated. Then we know where we are and what we have.

 
It probably is rough after so many years for some fans to understnad the current circumstances... Hopefully for Husker fans they won't have too much time to learn. I know a lot about having an unranked team if anyone needs help, though, I am just about an expert. Cy knows more though, so there is that... :P

And they will. I don't see them in the top 25 after this game no matter how bad we beat the crap out of them. I see us there after our first 4 wins.
