NU WRs vs Physical DBs

Will our receivers have trouble again matching up with physical DBs like last year (USC, OU)?

I'm not hearing much so far to tell me otherwise.

Any thoughts?

It sounds like a few of our receivers have gotten bigger this off-season so to me that would mean that they would be a little more physical with opposing teams DB's.

the bigger question is can our dbs handle the pyshical wrs?? such as USC and Texas

Great call. USC's top 5 WR's, with the exception of 1, will all be 6'3" or over and tough. But as far as our receivers go, having Mo back is huge, but on top of that I hear that Henry and Meno have added some strength, so that bodes well. Petersen is still a big guy who brings some physicality. The real question is, if we are susceptible to being jammed at the line, can our O-line handle the rush long enough for our receivers to break free?

Since Purify hasn't been working out, he could be a biscuit shy of 260! I doubt that is what you were referring to though. Speaking of big receivers, in Phil Steele's college preview, he lists Menelik Holt as the #2 HB. I didn't recall him moving, anyone else hear anything?

I stand corrected :worship also not to be confused with the common corner and quarter back and the more rare WING BACK!!!!! :thumbs

There whole defense is going to be FAST, PHYSICAL, and BIG. They will be damn good, but I am not going to take anything away from our boys. They will do fine.

Hopefully they have improved their pass catching ability also
