Great day for football, good thing it was at night, or we could have cooked. They could have had a few more beverage venders in the stands.

The crowd, and the student section was pumped.

The music from the Tunnel Walk could be louder but was still great.

The intensity of the team was sooooo different from last year, its Bo's team now.

The best decision of fall camp was moving Cody Glenn to linebacker. WOW he's there on almost every play.

We can stop the run, at least today, pass rush and secondary have work to do.

Joe can throw, we knew that, he can run some, Nate Swift can catch and needs to see the ball more.

The O-Line could use a Zack, Brendan, Arron or Dean.

Lucky didn't seem to have much steam, too much running almost parrallel to the line of scrimage. Got to turn the corner Marlon.

All in all, the have the start of building back the Huskers we all know and love. The fire is back, its not a roaring, raging inferno but its going to get bigger.

As side notes, C-Bear and I had a great time together and hope we inadvertently ran into some of you, I always say that game day is a party with 85,000 + of your closest friends. We met Thunder Collins, who is working for Ahman Green's foundation. We met Eric Crouch and C-Bear got an autographed picture and a couple candids with him and I got to shake the hand of the great Johnny Rodgers.

I also slammed some cold ones and have gotten home alive so all went well, very well, very, very well.

Toughest part of the day was dropping C-Bear off at the Dorm and watching her dissapear through the door.

Dad's an old softy.

You guy's in Lincoln watch out for the C-Bear I'm countin' on you.

Too much build up. Too late in the day. Not enough "Wham Bam" on the field. The last 4 years have kind of turned this crowd into a group that has too, far too, many skeptics. What we really need to do in absolutely CRUSH the next 2 opponents and then beat Va Tech in order to pump up the people who are just waiing for a colapse.

It doesn't help when the huskervision people don't help the team and the crowd out by not playing some music when the defense or offense comes out on the field. I still screamed my head off, but come on..............

You mean to tell me they got rid of the music? That must have been part of the "Dark Days" and now that the sun has come up it is nothing but Puppies and Flowers. :sarcasm Did they at least play the Darth Vader song or Back in Black?

Please tell me that they got rid of Rick Springfield and the rest of the 80's rock before the games to.

Expanding on this thought a little bit...

Anybody else start laughing at our little b******* attempt?

Christ, even when we get free t-shirts we can't even pull it off! I hated the idea in the first place, but I still wore mine... (wore a red shirt underneath though, because i decided i would wear the black when the D was on the field, and then wear the red for offense, it sounded like a sweet idea at the time, now... not so much)

Hopefully that will be last attempt, ever.
