Oct 16th College Gameday

I know we've discussed this before in January, but it's worth revisiting.

Gameday seems to be a complete lock for the 16th given last year's game and the bad blood that has brewed during the off season. It's a sport's commentator's dream. There will be so many powerful story lines that I see the game trumping every other game that weekend. I suppose the real question is, who will be at the stadium bright and early for gameday?

but the atmospher would be great and i think the guys over at espn would enjoy the chance to put down nebraska on our home turf........

Same here.... college gameday, a night game with a whooping of Texas. It couldnt get much better.

Hopefully you're meaning 3am friday? i remember the last game day vs USC... we showed up around 10 pm and STILL had a ton of people in front of us....

i'm guessing even with their feeble minds espn can see the significance of the game and implications and come on over to Lincoln... if not Tony Montoya wont be there to prevent me from detonating my suprise on KH's face......

I think you would be, but I understand why people would feel that way. ESPN is giving us alot of love lately(minus the Big 10-Big 12 thing,they'll look stupid in the end). Imagine possible recurits waking up that the saturday morning to college gameday being in Lincoln, with a record 25,000 fans showing up,cant remember the USC # but ND 2001 was 15,000 which has been broken. ESPN talking about how Nebraska will be back if they beat Texas, and the all hatred each other has now. Every single Nebraska-Texas recurit and fan will be glued to the TV. The publicity will be absolutely huge for Nebraska. Texas is used to it, so it wont mean much to them.

Just thinking it about gets me fired up.
