octavian?

I don't think he made the trip, but I know he was back to practicing.... must have not had enough time to be prepared I guess. Hopefully we see him against Texas

His hype is getting old. It's amazing what a couple great plays in the first quarter of your first Husker game against a 1-AA team can do for you and your status with fans. I will say it now, maybe regrettably, but I don't think he will ever live up to the hype.

He might not live up to his hype but we need him back for depth purposes. Last night, it was quite obvious that our linebackers were getting a little tired after McKeon went down. I think we just stuck with Bradley, Rudd, and Brandenburgh for the rest of the game. We need to have a little more game ready depth there for the next game.

I'm hoping Octavian can still be a major player in our defense. It might not happen until next season though. He has had it rough here so far. First a broken leg, then he let his weight get out of hand, then appendicitis and then a major hammy. If he wants to go pro he will be better focused coming into two a days next season. He'll have his weight down and be ready to compete.

I think it had more to do with his Spring/Spring Game performence. He looked really really good out there. Pounding guys and making great athletic plays.
