October vs November

Nexus

All-American
The month of September flew by didn't it? Anyway here is a little perspective for what we're up against in the next two months. The first set of numbers are our opponents current record after the month of September. The second set of numbers in parentheses is the total combined record of their opponents in the month of September. For example Nebraska's opponents went (3-11) in the month of September. And finally the asterisk (*) at the end means that those teams played an FCS team in September.

October

K-State = 4-0 (7-8) *

Texas = 3-1 (6-9)

Okie State = 4-0 (8-8)

Mizzou = 4-0 (8-6) *

Totals = 15-1 (29-31)

November

Iowa State = 2-2 (10-5) *

Kansas = 2-2 (8-7) *

Texas A&M = 3-1 (8-7) *

Colorado = 2-1 (5-7)

Totals = 9-6 (31-26)

If we get through October unscathed, watch out BCS. Tough to tell at this point, but each of those 4 teams could be ranked in the top 25 by the time we face 'em.

From what i saw last night, we will have no trouble with OKst or ATM. JJ is terrible, 10 turnovers in 2 games...this will continue to plaque him. There D looked ok last night. OkSt can score but there corners are horrible, blitzing package sucked and they just looked slow on defense. Both games are away games for us so hopefully we dont crap our pants in dealing with the crowds.

October is always tough for us but like said above if we win em all in October we'll be sitting pretty and control our own destiny ;)
