General football question: What's the rules on coaches and their teams right now? Can they talk to them at all? Can the Husker players go up to the coaches room and talk football? or watch film?

I'm sure some of the players play catch or run patterns, but can the coaches watch from the skyboxes??

 
I believe there can be no team run practices of any kind. I don't know about contact with coaches. I bet Eric knows.

 
As I recall, during the "off-season", there cannot be any "organized" activity initiated by the coaches. However, there is a provision in the NCAA rules that allow players to obtain strength and conditioning "information". A lot of schools use that to allow the conditioning coach to set up all sorts of things - semi-boot camp type training, matrial arts instruction, etc. All in the name of conditioning.

But formal drills such as route running, blocking, etc.? No.

 
No contact on the field what so ever. No film sessions at all unless on their own. No coach contact.

I'm sure someone reports back to the coaches though.
