I'd be careful getting too excited about the offense. They've proven they can move the ball at will...against Nevada, USC's mix of first, second and third team and last year's 115th-ranked defense (against a schedule that is mediocre by BCS-conference standards). In fact, coming into the game, having played Miami (OH), Eastern Michigan and Navy, Ball State's opponents were gaining 6.2 yards per rush attempt--nearly twice what Nebraska's offense managed against them.

Why can't NU run the fricking ball? :corndance

And might I add that if not for Keller, NU would be staring 2-2 or 1-3 in the face right now. Kid makes some mistakes, but he's a stud.

So is Lucky. So is Purify...Swift...Peterson...Hill...Castille.

Just not the O line (who can pass pro, but not run block).

I agree that the line needs some work on offense and that unit would almost be perfect!!!! Can you imagine what we would have done to teams so far if we at least had an okay defense!!!

Because our offensive line can pass protect a lot better than they can run block.
True.....But this was Ball St. I know we have more talent on our O-Line then they do on defense....

This falls directly with the coaching. Either they don't practice run blocking, develop a good enough strength and conditioning program or they are coached poorly.....or (D) all of the above

D is the correct answer.
