*** Official 2026 College Football Thread ***

My solution is that when Sorsby drops his case after he's played the entire season (and you know he will), Tech forfeits every game he played in and the NCAA fines them every dollar they made in football revenue for the year. When I say every dollar, I mean EVERY dollar - ticket revenue, seat donations, concessions, merch sales (in the stadium, in their physical store, online sales) and any other source for the entire academic year (not just the 4-5 months of the football season).
I like your idea too but mine would prevent TT from even letting him step on the field at all….unless they like getting penalized every snap he takes.

There’s a lot of people to blame for this. The AD. The school. The coach. The conference. The judge. Surprisingly, the NCAA had it right for once. Now let’s see if they take it further with some on field, in game enforcement that a judge can’t override. No reason it shouldn’t be considered an unsportsmanlike penalty if he plays.

No reason they can't do both. If the penalties were considered unsportsmanlike, they'd get two 15 yard penalties, he'd be ejected and the game would be played normally after that.

What a delicious piece of offseason entertainment I'm sad is over so quickly.

Campbell, Texas Tech, and Ken Paxton really just pulled their own masks off as scooby doo villains, absolutely destroying their reputation and credibility, and also being so effing stupid that their actions paved the way for the Big XII to put them in legal checkmate, all for Brandon Sorsby? lmao get rekt

Well said. The yahoo article laid all of this out pretty well. Texas arrogance is not just at UT.

I literally said I was sad
You literally did not.

You literally said it was a delicious piece of entertainment and that you were sad it ended.

And then threw out a 60 word salad sentence with no periods per usual. Maybe less than that, but at least a comma was used. HooRah.

I am sorry @Lorewarn
I was behaving Jerk-ish
I didn't mean to be, but I did it.
We go back a looonng way
Some good and some bad.
But you are a good man, like literally.
I appreciate the banter and the back and forth.
At the end of the day we both are Husker diehards.
Again, my apologies.
