Uh, the refs just screwed that up, royally. The guy's helmet came off, that's a 10 second runoff.

Is that reviewable? Since the result is no FG kick, MR should have all half to contest the call

Nah, these were pretty blatant whiffs by the officiating crew--a Roughing the Passer call on our team when it was the QB's own lineman that knocked him down, and no ten second runoff for the ASU player taking off his helmet...

That would require the refs/staff to know what's going on. This is a horrible opener.

For those asking about the boos...it was because an Ark St player took his helmet off right in front of the official and should have been penalized.
