Weak defense that can't win the day and a decimated offense with no depth.

Slow, unathletic and uninspired is a very bad trio. Good riddance 2016.

The worst of these three is the lack of inspiration. The team should have fire in the belly to want to win this game, and instead its like they are going through the motions. Perhaps a representation of a head coach that is a bit too nice.

Welcome to every game thread ever.

Makes me wish I hadn't retired. I'd go back through these game threads and prune out a bunch of "fans" who could use a few months away from a message board.

You should go back to posting on Polo's forum with all the other "real" fans.
If you can't take that some people don't think exactly like you or might be critical of a poorly performing team, maybe it's a good thing you retired.

At least we whine about the game not other people's whining.

We can critic the coaching all we want, but there is a serious talent deficit out there. If recruit classes don't improve, the best scheme in the world won't work.

None of what we are seeing today is surprising given the past 2 weeks of news / injuries... I just hope we get a spark from DPE (or anyone) that will stop the bleeding and give us a shot in the 4th...

I once watched this Tennessee Defense give up 600 yards to A&M.

And lose to Vandy

Last 3 game tenn D has given up an avg 600 yards per game. We have 33.

I agree that we need to upgrade the talent which is one of the reasons Riley was brought in. Right now we are sitting at about 25th in recruiting rankings which is about what Pelini averaged. We need to be finishing in the top 15 consistently to upgrade our talent to be competitive.
