A lot of ways to take that....With all the drama of the season (and past) I am guessing it isn't good.  Especially guys taking concerns to AD.  If I am reading correct, Trev cancelled plans to meet with AD's to handle the complaints?  

At least something to discuss other than coaching hires.  Be interesting to hear what more comes out.  Reading one of the comments the quote was from an article behind a pay wall....

Depending on what was said and what gets out, I wonder if it influences a guys decision to come here.  Or recruits.

LINCOLN, Neb. — If the first seven days of the offseason at Nebraska serve to preview the nine months ahead, buckle in for a bumpy ride before the Huskers kick off in Dublin against Northwestern.

The latest developments out of Memorial Stadium exacerbate the need to find impact players in the transfer portal, with the early departures of quarterback Adrian Martinez, first-team All-Big Ten tight end Austin Allen, second-team All-Big Ten cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt and defensive end Deontre Thomas. In addition, third-team All-Big Ten center Cam Jurgens and nose tackle Damion Daniels are on track to leave, said multiple sources close to the program. Jurgens has two seasons of remaining eligibility; Daniels has one.

It was a turbulent week behind the curtain in Lincoln. In the wake of a 3-9 season, the fallout began.

Maybe in all honesty, it's nothing more than the players saying to Trev you fired the wrong guys.  Maybe the culture issue with Frost.  Maybe they told Trev the staff was great.  They deserved another year.

I have no idea what to make of this with so few details, other than to give the same tired take we've been giving for years around here.

These kinds of things are rarely talked about when you're a winner. When you're a loser, this kind of stuff seems to happen all the time.

I read the whole article and didn't feel like that was much of anything.  Some tensions but I would flipping hope so after 3-9. Some people best get uncomfortable and change things up.

I saw where Cam had tested the waters and could go in the 3rd round IIRC.  I thought Daniels was out when Thomas announced.  I have a sinking feeling it's no bueno.

Forgot who was the player, but a former WR, stated something similar after Walters got the boot.
