I don’t have a guy, but I feel like it’s a tough position, IOL I mean, to bring in a top rated player money wise and shite all over the existing OL room and current commits, in the process.
Idk if that’s specifically the case here with this kid, but culture isn’t something to gamble with

Good luck to the kid. A ND degree isn’t something to turn your nose up at, at a minimum

You have a finite dollar amount to spend. Nebraska isn’t in Notre Dame, A&M, etc range. Simple as that. Plus we have sucked on the field for years and years and never send guys to the pros. We will need to win these eventually but right now we can win with what Geep is bringing in.

LOL, Geep the next savior up in the saga of Nebraska football. Nebraska will be lucky to get bowl eligible this year and likely begins the season at 3-3. Nebraska is the laughing stock of the B1G. They spend millions and get zero return. The whole men's athletic department should be shutdown so the Women Sports programs can get the royal treatment they've earned. "We can win with what Geep is bring in" LMAO oh my, watch out, Nebraska has a Geep recruiting ROFLMAO!!!

Why do you even bother to post if this is truly how you feel? Geep is absolutely recruiting well given the circumstances and a better OL coach than we have had in years.



That is if you are a Nebraska fan lol

1 decent year doesn't equate to success. The wrestling program is middle tier in the B1G and can't truly compete for a conference title. Penn St., Iowa, Michigan all are better programs. The Men's basketball won their first ever March Madness game this year and won't be in the tourney this coming year. The baseball program folds in every regional and yes, as I said in the baseball thread Nebraska was nothing more than a paper tiger this year. Men's track, who cares? This university knows three things. Overpay & Over Hype players and then Disappoint when the action starts. Many fans were excited when Nebraska joined and now we can't wait for them to leave not because we hate them but because they've been such a disappointment. At least the fanbase keeps paying for the ppv events and generating top 4 ad revenue for the rest of us. I guess it's the price we have to pay. We laugh as the cash cow deepens our pockets. As a fan of the B1G I should probably be thankful for that.

Geep hasn't coached a single game for Nebraska and hasn't coached an O-Line against B1G Ten offense Defenses. History says he is a good O-line coach in the ACC but the ACC is not the B1G. Still, as Nebraska fans always do, they are banking on a new assistant coach to revolutionize and reinvigorate a stagnated and left behind brand.

There is at least enough data to tell us he is an upgrade in recruiting and coaching.
