Many comments have been made about Miami, and some others. Most recently SC and the handling of the Sanchez incident.

Most Nebraska fans felt he should have been kicked of the team. Carrol would do anything to win, cover it up, sweep it under the rug. We were pretty holy about this. How could the let this kid stay in the program. Now all charges were dropped.

Now it is okay to take a kid basically accused of the exact same thing. That took a plea bargain, got 25 days in jail and and extremely long 5 year probation. Now of course because we need DB' s and he is coming to Nebraska, all should be forgiven. There is very little difference between the two. The main difference is their wasn't enough evidence for Sanchez and there was for Culbert. This kid needs to go somewhere else. You do the crime, do the time, at Oregon or someplace other than here. We do not need this after the LP thing. Trust me if he is in our program, recruiting will be affected by it down the road.

And fans accross the country and ESPN will be saying BC will do anything to win.

I will stand by whatever BC decides as he knows more about the story than any of us. But I am very concerned about this as are many boosters. We just don't need the hassle.

Your correct to have your apprehensiveness about Culbert.

It is all in BC's hands and he is sure taking every last minute to decide on the issue so you can be sure it will be the correct one. I stand behind coach on this either way he has all the facts in front of him and I do not see him as the type that will just fill the depth chart regardless of the character of the man. He could have worked with Igcognito years back when we really needed him but he did not. So I believe he sees more than just a safety and is looking into how this will affect his power to influence dicipline with current and future players under his regime. I dont see him as PC doing anything to win. Skers you probably agree with most of what I said so please dont take it as an attack I agree with you. :horns2

short n sweet: BC will make the best choice for the program

Totally agree.

If BC thinks the kid is getting a raw deal and takes him I will be okay with it. I admire BC for the way he is handling the program. I put it above wins and losses. Doing it right is all I am concerned about.

In the past regime, the rats ran the ship. We have a leader that does things right. I just don't want some thinking that a player is more important than the program. And if we do take him, to be prepared for what will follow.

I hear some comments have been made by Major that are not going over to well with the staff. We shall see. I get the idea he thinks he is above authority and his guardian feels the same way. I have not read anything that indicates it but just rumblings. I do not know how true any of it is yet. I have a call this afternoon with a friend in Omaha. He keeps me pretty much up to date with what is going on.

Shanle said JC transfer Andre Jones "has been making plays since the first day he stepped on the field" and is benefiting from the tutelage of No. 1 cornerbacks Cortney Grixby and Zack Bowman. . . . Oklahoma State intends to play its non-televised home games at 6 p.m., so that's the tentative time listed for OSU-Nebraska on Oct. 28. Any TV possibilities for the Big 12 matchup won't be known until 12 days prior to the game. . . . The NU roster shows several players sporting different numbers than spring practice, including Chris Brooks (1), Leon Jackson (5), Joe Ganz (12), Tyrell Spain (18), Dontrell Moore (19), Phillip Dillard (52) and Ndamukong Suh (93).

Here's some numbers for you all. I'm sure some of you have seen this but just in case a few of us missed it.........
