I think the Cotton bowl has always sort of been that way.So they can officially rename this the Overrated Bowl

I should probably clarify that I didn't buy Holiday Bowl tickets simply because I think the Huskers will lose to Texas. I'll be home (in San Diego) over the holidays and always go to the Holiday Bowl with my brothers every year anyway. I hope like hell that I don't get to see them there this year because that would mean they're going to the Fiesta. But I thought some folks might be interested to know they can get tickets through Ticketmaster this week for half the price they will be after the Big 12 title game. Plus, if the Huskers to beat Texas, you can just sell the tickets on Ebay or Stubhub for a profit. I'm just saying.Screw the Holiday, I want to see Nebraska whoop Texas on saturday and throw a wrench in EVERONES plans!

You would be fine even without the refundable insurance. I go to the Holiday Bowl every year and can tell you that lower level tickets go for at least $130 after the teams have been announced. That's what I paid last year and was stoked to have found such a good deal - and that was for Okie St. and Oregon.I bought Holiday bowl tickets and I don't care who calls me "skeptical". I am covering my bases. I have season tickets but don't donate, so every bowl I have gone to has come from friends/donors, but this year they are booked. Never been to the Holiday bowl so I am not missin the chance IF we don't get the job done. Been to the Fiesta a handful of times and will find tickets after we beat Tex.
Bought lower level for 70 bucks with refundable insurance....cant pass it up...
I am not buying airline tickets though, cause we are headed to Tempe !!!
** We have hotels reserved in both cities.
