Omaha dining recommendations

Best Steak- 801 Chophouse

Best Burger- Stellas in Bellevue

Best Restaurants- Boiler Room, J Coco, Lot 2

Best Sushi- Hiro 88

Most fun Sushi place- Blue

Best Drunk food- Block 16
Good list. J. Coco's service needs to improve and I thought 801 was excellent but not a particularly good value. Other than that we are mostly in agreement.

I'd add various taco trucks and the Omaha De'Leons to the list of best drunk food.
ALWAYS taco trucks. I would say though instead of De'leons go to Abelardos, its 24 hours and IMO better.
I think we'd get along quite well. :thumbs

I don't know why all of those Nebraska fans had such bad things to say about you in 2007-2010.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I really want to try the random taco truck deal but I'm pretty sure the wife and daughter will shoot that down.

Ate at Anthony's last night. It was kinda late and we weren't real hungry. I had walleye and the girls had soup, salad, and appetizer. It was all very good plus we got a little overflow entertainment from the live band next door at Ozone.

Need 2 recommendations. Need a great steakhouse(prime rib) joint near the casinos and a great breakfast joint(not a chain like Perkins or ihop)! And to me great breakfast joints make eggs to order not a buffet! Gonna be in town for the HB bar crawl but Knapp killed my weekend by calling that off! So now it's golf and food!

leo's in benson is pretty good for breakfast.

Depends where you are staying. 11-Worth Cafe is THE breakfast place in Omaha.

I don't really know about great steak places on the Iowa side. A lot downtown/Old Market though.

Meh, maybe it's just me but I live in the apartments next to it on St. Mary's Ave. and it's good but A bit overpriced for even an egg sandwich...

I actually prefer Penny's Diner food over it... O.o

I still miss Runza and wish they would ship overnight. A meal in a bunza, Runza. Reading some of the above spots makes me miss Omaha. Great place.

I can't believe Stella's is still open. That is awesome.

Call a store. They have frozen Runzas for sale. I think they come in 10 packs, I hauled about 40 of them to Seattle, a friend lives out there and we are on orders to bring them anytime we visit.

Up the interstate from the Casino's is a place in Cresent IA. called The pink poodle. Great prime rib. I believe they are still open.

Best pizza (IMHO) is Johnny Sortino's on about 78th and L St. Omaha.
