One of the guys on the bowl projections said that he predicts Nebraska in the Cotton bowl against LSU, wouldnt that be awsome for BO to play his first game against the last team he used to be with? Also another guy had them prejected in the Holiday bowl against USC.

I dont think this was already posted, if so, my bad.

 
If we had an offense it'd be nice.. I'd rather not play against an LSU or USC until we have one. Obviously it'd be a bigger game than us vs. Northwestern, but a bowl victory, however small, can do wonders for momentum into the next year.

Yeah your right, I wouldnt mind playing USC though..I mean if our offense got better we'd have a chance, but I dont think USC is that good this year. I dont think they score more than 10 on our D, if that.

 
Yeah they put up like what.. 12 on ASU? Still though, USC shows up big time for bowl games. Let's put it this way, I don't care who we play as long as we win. I just think that momentum into 2010 will be huge and help us all get a feeling that the season was pretty good.

Yeah, look what all of those extra practices did for our offense getting to, and winning the Gator Bowl. :sarcasm

 
The only way you can possibly hope to beat USC in a bowl game is to have Vince Young, and even then it is close.

 
Even if we go to the Big 12 title game would the Cotton still take Okie Lite if they finish strong? Doesn't the Cotton still take the 1st choice out of the Big 12 that does not get a BSC at-large?

Correct. They don't have to take us. They very well could pick Okie State. But we need to win out first and then start talking about going to to Cotton Bowl. :D
