At the university I went to... there were some track runners who were on scholarship from Kenya... they were so poor they didnt have money to buy any dorm stuff so a nice old couple at the university bought a couple of them microwaves and some socks and underware. The NCAA found out about it and took away half of our scholarships across all of track and football for 3 years. So that one sweet, kind, good hearted couple ended up costing the school something like 90 scholarships (D2). So just remember... small acts of kindness to recruits can be deadly to university athletic programs.

All this violation talk is for not... JD's dad is well aware of the negatives and as a result wouldn't risk it. He is however very humbled by the emails and letters that have come in from Husker Nation.

at this point dont matter of the kid comes here or someone else... just hope for great and fast recovery... just glad that the kid is getting love still and people are smart enough to realize the kid still has a great chance of being a stud in college......
