The formation of the Big 12 ruined it. Period. My only hope is that a decision is made soon that when OU and NU play, it's played the day after Thanksgiving. At least this way not all of the history and tradition is destroyed like it is right now.

I grew up on the B8 & NU vs OU rivalary. That was a great one and there's nothing like it from the Husker's perspective. Too bad it's gone. OU has TX.

I would absolutely LOVE to have a game every year with Ou. They are damned good and it would always be a heated game.

Personally, I hate the Big 12 Championship game. I'd rather have all the Big 12 schools drop their nonconference schedule and have each team in the Big 12 play one another. If they did this, we could get the OU rivalry back and there would be no need for the friggin championship game. It's not like there aren't some patsies in the Big 12 for those schools who like to schedule D2 teams. I think Baylor and some others keep the schedule from being overloaded with only powerhouse teams.
