The local sports personalities are really starting to freak out that ou hasnt got any replacement for next season

They are officially starting to panic bigtime.

With Snead on the market now, I wonder if OU would try to recruit him. Bad thing is, that doesn't help them next year since he'd have to sit out a year.

They have 3 QBs on the team now, Sam Bradford, Joey Halzle and Hays McEachern, who return next year. All of them were brought in to be backups to Bomar, and from talking with the OU diehard I know, they have all be beyond awful. They need a big time JUCO QB this year, or one of the top high school QBs, and have been whiffing thus far.

Wasn't Halzle a JUCO. He would be my pick as the starter next year for them.

This is one of the big deals about us getting Zach Lee. OU was on his list as well, and probably would have been the guy next year

No quality QB next year & no Adrian Peterson. The rumor of Stoops leaving seems more possible. I dont imagine he will want to grind through 2-3 years of growing pains before they might be in a position for championship run. For the sake of the conference, I hope he stays.

He was a JUCO last year, but by all accounts was nothing short of awful durring the spring game. He was just planned on being a back up to Bomar.

Keith Nichol has commited to ou. #5 dual threat qb. 4 star with a 5.9 rating. looks damn good. They dodged a bullet there. But i doubt he will be ready next year. they needed a quality Juco.
