1. OU-TV. Bob Stoops tells Rivals.com that Oklahoma is going full bore with launching a TV network, much like Texas is going to do. He says the hope is that Oklahoma's network is expected to launch sometime this year. While school-specific TV networks can be great for an institution's bottom line, I think they will be the ruin of the Big 12.

I wonder what aTm and Okie Lite think of this? Ya think we will soon being seeing the the Baylor athletic channel on cable??

I just can't see any other Big 12 member that could have enough of a draw for its own network. There just isn't the national following. This is going to shatter the Big 12 - the disparity in revenue will be the death of what's left.

 
I think they will be ok as long as the old B12 North Schools continue to accept their roles as ankle grabbers. If that changes, I think the conference is done.
