Our favorite columnist is coming to town....

kill him with kindness...seriously.

if we want to be the best/nicest fans in all of college football, we need to act that way towards him when he comes.

Nevermind, Dekalb, Illinois.

I still bet there's a corn field no more than 1/4 mile from the house he grew up in, though.

As much as I would like to sh#t in his shoes, it is important that anyone who comes into contact with him is kind, welcoming, sincere, and doesnt try to convince him we are not red necks. We are a dying breed, Nebraska is a place where our kids can be reletively safe. Be proud Husker fans, thats enough.

Anyone know if his daughter (Tracy I think)is coming with him? She is with him on the radio show. Very down to earth and reels him in quite often.

But I heard on another show, that most that know him can't stand him either. He is not that popular with the other radio hosts out here, is what a I got from the Loose Cannons here in LA.

But the answer is to be as nice as we can be to him. Make him regret his comments by kindness. In his face will only encourage him. I do not know if they will be doing shows with him in Nebraska or not. I never listen to him. The wife loves his show, but actually likes Tracy the best. She thinks he is hilarious.

The dude isn't going to regret his comments. They weren't meant to be hurtful, they were just stupid generalizations that he made so that the L.A. Times could fill out a column.

Are people in L.A. even interested in how Nebraskans live? Why are they flying him out here?

DeKalb could be the worst place in the United States of America, no wonder he's bitter. He's a self loathing CA transplant.

LOL. I have to admit there isn't much in Nebraska. The state doesn't have too many entertainment options, nor the attractive women Scottsdale or Orange County offers.....BUT......

It does have beautiful unique houses (in some areas), beautiful green grass and large mature trees, the ABSOLUTE best people I have ever met with open and warm hospitality and this was even when I played against my beloved Huskers.... and most importantly ....

NEBRASKA HAS THE HUSKERS!!!

That is all that matters. God felt Nebraska already had too much of a good thing with the Huskers that they gave Hollywood and Disneyland to L.A. to keep them busy. L.A. didn't even show up to the Coliseum for 15 years to watch USC play....NU has over 270 sellouts.

Take it from a Left coast born and raised guy....Nebraska is a bit simple but that is a refreshing and wonderful change. I love it there! (aside from the rediculous cold of course)
