I've been reading a lot of the reaction to this over the morning.
Before I had seen the video, a lot of people were saying he had the right to defend himself. But, at least from what we can see, his physical response to her physical attack seems a little disproportionate.
Regardless, I agree with StPaul that the players need to better than this and find a way to remove themselves from these kinds of situations, even though it's well documented that players often become targets of imbeciles (not saying this girl is - just speaking generally).

Scary to read thru the initial posts in this thread- I wonder if any of those folks have watched the video today?
Found this pretty insightful, and gives us a good reminder of why recruiting kids with character is as, if not more important in a collegiate program.
