The over/unders below are based on the dominant numbers our boys put up last season. So, just how good do you think they'll actually be 'cause it's gonna be a tall order to match even half of these incredible stats.

Opponents points per game - 10.4

Opponents total offense - 3808 yards

Opponents passing yards - 2504

Opponents rushing yards - 1304

Opponents rushing TDs - 7

Opponents passing TDs - 7

Interceptions - 20

Fumbles/lost - 26/8

Sacks - 44

Opponents Redzone TDs - 11 for 25 (44%)

My prediction.

Opponents points per game - 10.4 Over.

Opponents total offense - 3808 yards Under

Opponents passing yards - 2504 Under

Opponents rushing yards - 1304 Over

Opponents rushing TDs - 7 Over

Opponents passing TDs - 7 Under

Interceptions - 20 Over

Fumbles/lost - 26/8 Under

Sacks - 44 Under

Opponents Redzone TDs - 11 for 25 (44%) Over

Opponents points per game - 10.4 Dare I say under? UT's offense takes a step back, as does Kansas. No OU or TTU on the regular season schedule. We should shut out SDSU and WKU

Opponents total offense - 3808 yards Trivial

Opponents passing yards - 2504 Under

Opponents rushing yards - 1304 Over. More teams pounding the rock this season. UW, KSU, KU, aTm.

Opponents rushing TDs - 7 Over. See above

Opponents passing TDs - 7 Push

Interceptions - 20 Over. Prince will be a ballhawk. That'll open up Dennard for picks. With Gomes in the backfield at all times he should match O'Hanlon's 5 from last year. or was it 6?

Fumbles/lost - 26/8 UNDER

Sacks - 44 Over. Pierre should be going full throttle after healing and Meredith and Ankrah should be beastly. And that's not including Crick...

Opponents Redzone TDs - 11 for 25 (44%) Push

We are evolving into a time when the Black Shirt D will become legendary!

well Pelini had the no. 3 defense every year at LSU and has coached a national championship unit. If he's saying we're going to be better defensively I believe him. Under in every category! :throwdabones1:

:throwdabones1: i have nothing to say...that is just awesome

I'm of the opinion that our defensive stats hinge upon our offense. If our offense is able to hold onto the rock, move the ball, and eat time off the clock; then it's quite possible our stats will look better than a year ago. However, if the offense scores a lot more points than last year it will be quite possible we see some blowouts this year. If we see blowouts this year, then our defensive stats won't look as good because we'll be playing the second and third D units a lot more. If our offense is as enemic as last year, then I think out defensive stats could look pretty comparable to last year.

It makes me sick to think what could have been last year had we even remotely had some semblance of an offense. Our defense put up some tough numbers while being on the field for what seemed like an eternity.

This year I think the offense becomes better, they certainly wont be worse. The defense will continue its domination. I think we win 3 more games this year and will be knocking on the NC game door.

Allow me to add one more category...

Over or under, total defense, let's say, top 17?

I say under. Anyone else?
