Pac-12 fires 11 football officials

The Pac-12's recently announced initiative to improve its football officiating includes the removal of 11 officials who worked games a year ago, the conference confirmed Wednesday.

They won't release the names of the officials they fired, but I will almost guarantee you that one of them was Cleo Robinson, the Head Linesman who officiated the Nebraska/Washington game at Seattle. He was the guy who routinely erred in ball placement (shockingly always in favor of Washington). It got so bad that in the second half the ball carriers for Nebraska weren't giving him the ball anymore, going so far as to run back towards the center of the field and handing/tossing the ball to Line Judge or the the Back Judge.
