Lets give the man some credit. Last year against Okie State when Woods caught that touchdown pass in the first half. Ricketts wrapped him up and did a great form tackle on him. Most DBs would of just gave up on the play and let him celebrate with joy, but not Ricketts, he took Woods down. :thumbs

Your right he wasn't the best, and I wasn't a huge fan of his game but he was a 100% nebraska and gave all he had.

 
man I remember a few games where that guy came up huge. you shud give him a break. for what he had to work wit he was a gamer. much respect.

 
Sorry, I just have a hard time forgetting every team calling his number all the time and him getting burned 90% of the time.

He didn't get burned near as much with bo as he did the year before.

 
We had a little joke last year about Ricketts. A friend of mine would walk as if he possibly had the rickets every time Ricketts got burned. It was pretty funny... but you probably had to be there.

 
Funny stuff. Ricketts made a huge play against A & M in '02 to put a receiver out of the game and fired up the defense for the comeback. Last year wasn't that bad, but I remember driving 3 hours to Ames to watch Rickets make Lane Danielsen look like Jerry Rice.
