pelini and the defense

well, hopefully pelini can put together a great defense, because in my opinion, defense wins championships and offense sells tickets. the example of this was sundays super-bowl.. the new york giants defense shut down a great qb, brady, with embarrasing numbers.. if penili can do this with nebraska, it will be a great start for the huskers next year.

I agree about the defense being the key. I also feel a stout offensive line is part of the championship key though. If your defense stops the other team and they can't score eventually, even with okay talent, your offensive line will create opportunities that allow you to score. :thumbs
