Pelini mentioned 55 players have GPS tracking systems on!?

Kenny Bell said GPS last year tracked him as running about 6-7 miles during a practice. This year, it's 3 miles. He says his body can tell.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing though?
At this point I'm gonna say what we have been doing has not worked, so any change is welcome until proven otherwise. #4losses.

Of course, this rash of injuries has really been something. Not sure if you can attribute it to anything though.
I'll go with that as well. I don't think Kenny would have commented on it specifically if he thought it was a bad thing. Then again, which player wouldn't be happy about doing half as much running as prior.

Yeah, until these changes lead to 7-6. #canthavenothinnice.

Looks like something else we borrowed from Chip Kelly.

• Kelly’s team uses the latest wearable player-tracking technology, and his staff monitors the resulting data in real time to determine how players should train and when they become injury risks. “On an individualized basis we may back off,” Kelly said recently. “We may take [tight end] Brent Celek out of a team period on a Tuesday afternoon and just say, because of the scientific data we have on him, ‘We may need to give Brent a little bit of a rest.’ We monitor them very closely.”

It makes sense as every person is different and you really cant use overall statistics on how each player is affected by physical activity.
