Personal opinion here.

There is not a single person in any sport worth anywhere near a million bucks no matter how good or good they could be.

It is a joke as far as I am concerned. They are playing a game, not defending our country, not educating our kids, not physically mending broken limbs or doing brain surgery.

Some where we got way out of line on these pay outs. It needs to stop.

I know a lot of people who are losing their homes, a lot of military kids that can never afford a home. Yet we can pay this player more than god makes and it is okay.

Sorry I just hate this out of line throw more money at them mentality.

yep, us old guys agree with that! unfortunately we highly value winning in collegiate sports and football coaches are almost elevated to godlike positions......our culture is just jacked up with the wrong values, not likely to change.....even the damn atheists want to take "so help me God" out of the inauguration proceedings, screw them!
