Bolden - QB with some starts to LSU

Buckley - back up corner to NCS

Fortt - back up MLB expected to battle for starting position to Cal

Incoming Freshmen

Nowicki - OL to ILL, WASH or ASU

Recruits (I am not a recruit wonk)

Pollard - DT to Rutgers

remember some other big catch decommitted - probably more I just don't keep up

 
The whole Sandusky scandal sickens me. And I'm certainly no fan of Penn State. But it saddens me to see their program being dismantled like this. And I have a feeling that it will get worse before it gets better.

They lost a 4 star DT Greg Webb commited to UNC.

i could never walk into the locker room shower again. the whole place needs to be gutted and remodeled.

Its like we said, one big guy leaves and more will follow.

If you read the PSU boards, they are pretty sure they will have a good season this year and be able to "hold it together" for the next 5 seasons or so with 6 or more wins.

I highly doubt that. This is going to be their best year out of the next 5, and I bet you it isn't that good.

 
They will be lucky, at best, to win 8 games this year. The idea that the new coach over at PSU will make their offense amazing is a joke.

Winning with Tom Brady, kinda easy. Winning with what PSU has, kinda not easy.

Is this a general observation or one backed up with some factual evidence?!? :P
 
If I was a PSU player trying to leave Creepy Valley I would be annoyed at PSU. First the coach tells you that the NCAA cannot impose sanctions since there were no rules broken. Then the Freeh report that was commissioned by the BOT takes 7 months to compile their report. I wonder if the NCAA had to pressure PSU to release it before the season started. I know they looked through a lot of documents and interviewed a lot of people so 7 months might be reasonable but you have to think that PSU would have preferred the report to be released after the season started. Once released, the NCAA acts promptly, imposes sanctions and you find out that they made transfer easy. But there isn't a lot of time to evaluate options and make your escape. Practice starts Monday and if you attend you are locked in for the season. Your coach is saying that he wants players to be "all in". I am assuming that means if you don't show up for practice he'll kick you off the team. Kind of a big decision on your football and academic future in a short amount of time.

The PSU fans are saying this like "Since our new coach is from the NFL, he is used to playing with a small roster, so he will know how to win here"

Ummm, yeah, a small roster of NFL players, not a small roster of players that no one wanted.

 
Another dude just left PSU, some WR that was a current commit.

Bradshaw, Guess he is going to UVA now.
