I don't think Ingram's status will have much to do with it - 'Bama has backs aplenty. I think the bigger problem is that Penn St. has a new quarterback - Bama has a new defense. I'd put my money on the defense being ready over the Penn St. quarterback being ready...
Alabama 31, Penn State 14. Even without Ingram I just don't see a brand new starter at QB on the road for the first time being able to take on that defense.
It sounds like Ingram will be out again for this game. I don't think it will matter because they have plenty of running backs and Penn State is pretty young and will struggle on the road.
