So are we keeping the Friday after Thanksgiving game when we play Iowa or are we playing on Saturday now?

I hope we keep the day after Thanksgiving game. I noticed we play Iowa that week on both 2011 & 2012 Schedule.

We play UM the Saturday before, we will want 7 days before we play again. I understand this schedule is all about eyes and TV sets, but it would have been nice if they would have mixed in an Illinois or Indiana instead of OSU and PSU.

As for PSU being our protected rival, meh. :moreinteresting

could be worse... coulda made OSU the protected rival.

They might as well be. They will be our last game every year, except for the bowl game.

Absolutely insane schedules. We will have the toughest schedule in football the next two years by far. I am glad we are playing Penn St. in the annual crossover game though. That will be a hell of a game every year. Iowa to take the day after Thanksgiving slot.....that's another great one. Get ready for some smashmouth football. First though, let's win the Big 12 and go out in style.

Let me say that as a PSU fan, we're thrilled that they've pencilled you guys in as our new rival in the conference and scrapped our old "rivalry" game against Michigan State every year, which was extremely underwhelming. Really excited to play you guys each year.
