Medina, OH -- Police said a gas station owner in Medina was so upset that two competitors were selling cheaper fuel that he vandalized their stations.
NewsChannel5 reported Steven Herold, 41, was charged with vandalism after he allegedly put glue in the credit card readers of his competitors, a Marathon station and a Clark Oil station.
The Shell station owner was also accused of spreading foul-smelling deer repellent on the pumps and throwing beer bottles through windows.
Police used surveillance tapes to identify a license plate and the owner.
He pleaded not guilty Monday in court to four counts of vandalism.
He will go on trial in January.
