I think Beck has promise. I know we've piled on him, but we've also seen his system work very, very well. If he were given free reign of the offense, I think it would be pretty good... especially with this rumor about how didn't want to call plays for Martinez today.

Your kidding me right? Beck has COMPLETE reign over the offense. Martinez basically stated this in an article to ESPN. Either way, like I have stated in a couple threads, this is Bo's team, and if he knew pulling Martinez was the best choice, he should have done it, whether Beck liked it or not.

Wow, I get my numbers mixed up. I meant 2-gap there. Especially when they were running their 3-4. I'm not sure if they are still a 2-gap now that they primarily run a 4-3.

These are the other two All Pro defensive tackles from last year, much more typical build like Suh in a 4-3 scheme. Wilfork is an exception to the norm and works better in a 3-4 scheme.

I mention Wilfork because while we run a 4-3, we run a 2-gap defensive line, which is like a 3-4. So as long as they're getting the job done, I don't know if we should worry too much about physique. Suh of course, played either one just fine.
