You'll have to excuse many of us Husky fans. Many Huskies are not used to being 2 and 0. They think that holding someone to 20 points is domination. They weren't around for the late 80's and early 90's version of the Montlake dawgs. Don't take offence to it.

I've had this game circled on my calendar for a while now. I like the Huskies chances, but I fear the Cornhuskers. The Huskies first visit to Lincoln was on my honeymoon and I was unable to fully enjoy the atmosphere. I would like to be there for this game, but I will enjoy it from home on San Juan Island. We don't get many Huskers out this way, but over the years I've enjoyed conversations with Husker fans: classy and passionate fans. For the most part, that's what you'll find with the traveling Husky fans in Lincoln next week (but, unfortunately, 60% bandwagoneering dawg fans on this board.)

So, I hope you'll excuse the Husky fans that appear here over the next week. If the Huskies lose, you won't hear a peep from them again. Me? Win or lose I'll be back here to talk again.

Naturally, though, we are going to disagree with any predictions of a Husker demise! :)

What's your prediction zoogies? Just wondering... I think Washington will win a close one like 28-27. Similar to the USC/Cal wins of last year.

 
Based on what we have shown this year, anyone would expect it to be a close and hard-fought team. However, I think the Huskers have a lot they haven't put on the field yet. I think this team is building towards something special and they know it. So I'm going to go bold with my prediction and say 41-20, Huskers.

Fresno State hurt Washington. The Bulldogs woke this husker club up and I honestly think Washington is going to get a very mad team.

I say it is 28-3 at halftime and final score of 45-13

 
I actually like Washington's chances in this one. I can't say Washington will win, because my pride won't let me. But I will say...NU-35 Washington-31

 
Bo should have a good idea what Washington is going to throw at us offensively. If he doesn't use this week to adjust for it, I'm going to facepalm hard.

 
If it's the team we saw in the first half against Fresno, UW 35 - NU 17. If we actually play 4 quarters of football like I know we are capable of, NU 38 - UW 13. That's the mystery. We haven't played 4 quarters of football yet.

FACT! Based on our trajectory I predict 3 quarters of effective football. 31-17 NU. Washington is a good team, and is getting better by the minute with Sark...I'm glad this is the last time we play them for a while.

 
Every fanbase has people that go to the other boards and troll for some reason. I think everyone here knows those people are the minority and don't represent the majority of a team's fans.

 
I think way to many people are forgetting that bo's team have a game or 2 per year that they look terrible. (ISU, south Dakota state anyone?) I think we see a bo pelini defense on this week.

 
Let's not kid ourselves, Washington has a shot at winning again. I still like Nebraska in a closer-than-advertised game, though.
