Though I'll likely be eating crow for this come Saturday night, but I also have a bit of a different (positive) feeling for this game. I don't know if it is simply that the apathy has completely taken over, or this:

What in the hell does our team have to lose? I think we can all agree that this season is pretty much scrapped...unless we win out.

I could just see our team playing loosely, more relaxed.

I think that this can help explain a lot of upsets, when the underdog is completely written off, said underdog really has nothing to lose -- so win.

I remember when I played ball (baseball, though), when we were written off...we would often give the other team a helluva a challenge/game...often winning.

Of course, I'm an idiot, though.

No way will we beat Texas. We are a way worse team than we were last season as far as team chemistry goes and there is no way we will beat them or anyone else the rest of the season unfortunately. :hmmph

I believe Stanford was like a 43 pt underdog, but they WANTED to win. I too have that gut feeling that NU can pull off the upset... there have been a lot of crazy games this season, hopefully NU can share in its own upset GO SKERS

Sorry to be a contrary Jayhawk, but unlike my brethren above, I fear a loss. I think you may have a better chance against the Hawks, even though I like our chances, because your team thinks it can win. I have a hard time thinking this is a Husker week. Never the less, best of luck...
