Taking a break from the Husker Forum since all there is is mostly negativity over there.

Anyway, what do you all think of the reaction to the Pope's comments? Looks like another repeat of the cartoon fiasco from last year. I will be very dissapointed if the Pope apologizes as Muslim leaders are asking him to do. The protests and hate speech will not stop if he apologizes. People are failing to realize that radical Islam will use anything to start war. Your thoughts? (If you aren't to busy bashing Callahan.)

 
bah i think the Pope has a big enough backing to say whatever he wants

he should throw up a Pope prayer and be gone with the protesters <_<

 
I thought I heard he apologized "that the muslins feel that way about his comments." Don't think he apologized for making his comments.

I for one, wouldnt want to be one to mess with the pope. He's got a great GM, CEO, president, "the big guy" in his corner.

 
:yeah If I was him I wouldn't apologize for anything. It's his point of view and I had heard he was sorry for the way they felt about it, but not about saying it. :dunno
