Sweeeeeeeeeeet! Good news!
The above quote is from the LJS blog....We're approaching the midway point of fall camp (not counting the week before the first game) and all is fairly quiet. No major news to report from Tuesday's practice. Marlon Lucky (possible concussion) and Cody Glenn (leg) were again held out of practice but are expected to return any day.
Clayton Sievers, Chris Brooks, Lydon Murtha and Andre Jones were also held out. Nothing appears serious, though.
"We have some heat issues now and then," offensive coordinator Shawn Watson said. "But the guys have been really resilient. We haven't had anything significant, knock on wood. We've had some heat stuff, but that's to be expected. Overall, we're in good shape, good health."
Regarding the quarterbacks, both Sam Keller and Joe Ganz said the reps are 50-50, and the competition remains strong.
Dan Erickson, a walk-on receiver from Omaha, earned a scholarship today.
Actually I would love to see Glenn out for a while just so he could get rid of some nagging injuries.well, if Glenn and Lucky remain out or see limited action for much longer, that is going to hurt.
I can see it now................no one will be expecting Glenn to come out and play in a game and all the sudden he's on the field and the opposing defense is going "Oh hell!!!!" chuckleshuffleActually I would love to see Glenn out for a while just so he could get rid of some nagging injuries.well, if Glenn and Lucky remain out or see limited action for much longer, that is going to hurt.
