Preferred B1G Target?

Which School would you most like to see join the B1G?

I voted Kansas. I know it doesn't make sense in terms of Market, but I would like to have at least one Big 8 partner back. And they are AAU. Could create a reason to bring Missery in as well.

 
None. I hate conference expansion when the teams make no sense culturally or geographically. Maryland and Rutgers were a stretch.

 
I voted Notre Dame. Bring good publicity to the conference by landing a big fish that is rich in tradition. ND's culture would fit well in the B1G I think.

 
I voted Texas.

big endowment? check

great high school football? check

big media markets? check

AAU? check

Top quality public school? check

good athletics? check

geographic fit? nope

I think the good outweighs the bad and they are the only school that is pretty much a slam dunk on 99% of the criteria.

 
Texas - distance & 'cultural' issues aside, no one brings more to the table than the Longhorns

Notre Dame - if for no other reason than to see their fans wearing sack cloth & self flagellating in protest

North Carolina - outside of UT the most valuable long term addition, perfect fit academically & athletically

Kansas - because I feel sorry for them
