I'm actually very pleased with the way that Riley and the staff have approached these games against lesser opponents. They tried to get cute too often last year, instead of utilizing the better athletes and deeper roster to their advantage. I expect NU to be able to do the very same thing the next 3 games and go into Madison at 7-0.

Not sure which would be better. As a guy that has coached for a long time I love when my team has an easy path...So I would be fine with Wisconsin having 2 losses when Nebraska plays them.

On the other hand if they were both undefeated that would be pretty cool

I'd rather Wisky have one loss to OSU in a thriller. That way they're still ranked pretty high with the close loss and have a few weeks to climb, but OSU is still unbeaten when we play them.

Win those two game with the stakes set up that way, we would have quite the buzz. It'd certainly help with recruiting.
