PSU parallels with the extended Pedey search……..??

Given the vociferous reaction to the Penn St. hiring choice by many in the PSU community, does anyone see any parallels with the 1 man never-ending Pedey saga when all of Husker nation was seemingly reduced to scrambling for Cessna tail numbers and pouring over FAA flight plans in a futile effort to shed some light on our future leader??

If I recall, SP really enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame while isolating the free world in an Exodus style banishment from any meaningful content on his solitary infamous “Search”.

 
Even though the reason for the coaching search was different thankfully, there are similarities. Replacing a long established coach, no one seemingly wanted the job, a search done very closed door and much negative reaction when the new coach was announced. PSU has a very bumpy ride ahead. I hope they are strapped in for some tough years. Probably some difficult recruiting years ahead with a coach who has never been the head guy. he won't even take over till after the Super Bowl.
