Purdue Game Highlights

@Toe I texted a friend after that play saying it would be nice if either tackle actually touched someone.
Then Casey wouldn't have picked up those nice yards. It was so bad it was like keystone cops, but with a 3 stooges lucky ending.

When I watched that in real time I said ‘how did CT get away?  Did the rushers run into each other.’

confirmed in replay.

Whip just needs to start game planning around this. Start having Grant feign a block shovel pass right up the middle to him or have CT be ready to pull it down and run it. Screen pass, or roll Casey out. There are a lot of things you can do knowing your edges are going to get beat the majority of the time.

It is pretty odd how little we try to help the guys that are struggling the most.

This was my biggest complaint with frost. Use the cards you were dealt and make the most of it. Good coaching is to play to their strengths instead of exposing their weaknesses. adapt the game plan according to who you have on the roster instead of trying to force the roster into a system they just can’t execute. It’s like Whipple is trying to force a square peg into a circular hole and just can’t figure out why it’s not working. It’s frustrating to watch.
