Purdue Post-Game Pressers

Still didn't affect the play in my opinion.


The guy he held still got to Johnson before he was down.  It had an effect on the play.

On Banks? His hands were inside the guy's shoulder pads. Unless there was some other dude holding and I missed it?


He was reaching across the guy holding the shoulder pad on the far side and spun him around.

Anyone have a link to the Fidone penalty that negated the TD? Haven’t been able to find it anywhere.

He was reaching across the guy holding the shoulder pad on the far side and spun him around.

He never spun him around and the defender actually spun away from him to get in on the tackle, so a weak hold to begin with. It had an affect as much as a normal block would.

By the book? Sure, it's a foul. Just like most blocks on the O line, since everyone is thaught to grab an inner pad for control. 95% of the time it's never called though, and this shouldn't have been either.
