Purify

I have one question about Purify. I'm not knocking on him cuz he's an excellent receiver and made some great catches last night. But what the hell is that technique he uses when he catches the ball and starts to back into the defender???? Anyone else notice that??? I seen him do that at least twice. After he turns to catch the ball and ultimately catches the ball, he starts to back pedal into the defender before he starts trying to run up field. WTH is that all about????????

I noticed that too. I think he is anticipating a hit from the defenders, but when it dosen't come, he has already lost 2 to 3 steps. He needs to work on that so he can get more yards on his catches.

He caught the ball quiet well lastnight. But like you said, needs to turn around and run up field.

I agree. I wasn't implying he wasn't. Just saying what I thought he should be doing. You could tell he was pumped for this game. I seen him nodding his head at one point early in the game after making a big catch.
