Lincoln, NE -- Nebraska's capital city isn't the only place Lincoln's police chief is stopping crime, he's also doing it in Washington D.C.
This week, Chief Tom Casady grabbed a man who tried to snatch his wife's purse in front of the White House.
Casady, along with his wife, were in D.C for a conference.

The chief said he thought there was plenty of law enforcement near the White House so he grabbed the guy's arms and started yelling.
Secret service officers soon showed up and took away the assailant.
